How It All Began

I have fond memories of my childhood, growing up in a big Italian, multi-generational, family, watching my Grandma and Mom cooking and baking every day.

I paid attention!

As a little girl I would perch my head on the counter and watch as they created delicious desserts with a pinch of this and a pinch of that. The house smelled so yummy and as kids, we couldn't wait to bite into homemade goodness, especially their oatmeal, chocolate chip cookies.

Grandma and Mom were my inspiration. I continued that love for baking as an adult and even more so once I became a mom! There were lots of different recipes that were handed down to me, handwritten on index cards but nothing was as special as their famous cookies.

Today, I bring this secret recipe for you with my gourmet Sweet Pedals Ice Cream Treats.  I've taken our secret family recipe and combined it with creamy ice cream, creating the best homemade cookie and ice cream confections. Made fresh daily with only the finest, wholesome ingredients, these treats have been perfected over the past 40 years.
